During Microsoft’s Q1 FY27 investor relations conference call, CEO Satya Nadella claimed that one Xbox’s biggest franchises, Minecraft, put up its best revenue and engagement yet in Q1 FY27.

As Microsoft hosted its Q1 FY27 investor conference call to go with its earnings results, here’s what Satya Nadella had to say about Xbox and gaming:

While Nadella doesn't outright state Minecraft's revenue, Xbox content and services (down 2 percent year-over-year) was included Microsoft's Devices and Consumer section, which posted revenue of $15.5 billion in Q1 FY27. That $15.5 billion in revenue is where Minecraft's record revenue would be included.

As long as Minecraft has been around - long enough to change ownership, studio names, and spinoff into countless projects such as the recent Minecraft Dungeons 2 - it's impressive to see the game still making records 17 years down the line. For more updates on all things from the franchise, stay tuned to the Minecraft topic.
