Looking Back at My Blaugust Month

Five posts. This is what I had set as a goal for myself when Blaugust started. And now I am looking at possibly 16 (if I manage to publish this post here today).

When I started, I wasn’t sure whether I was clinging to a once-loved hobby that I had outgrown. It felt strange, foreign even. My sentences felt short and unimportant. But the more I wrote, the more fun I had!

The one thing I didn’t manage to do this Blaugust was to look at any other Blaugust bloggers or even engage in our Discord channel. But one step at a time.

So, let’s look at what I did write this month:

• 15 blog posts
• 5318 words in total (about 350 words per post)
• more than 50 games written about or at least mentioned

Now that Blaugust is over, I know I will be writing less often again. But hopefully, I can keep writing about 2 to 4 posts per month. The gaming world certainly does give me enough to write about, after all.
