Gaming Corps signs content deal with Veikkaus

The deal adds Gaming Corps to a growing list of suppliers Veikkaus has signed as it prepares to compete in a liberalised Finnish market from 1 July 2027.

Finland’s shift from a state gambling monopoly to a competitive licence-based system on 1 July 2027 is accelerating supplier activity around Veikkaus as the operator builds out its content offering ahead of open competition. Gaming Corps announced a content partnership with Veikkaus on 26 October 2026, with an initial focus on the Swedish studio’s slots catalogue.

Slots catalogue to go live first, with scope to expand

The initial rollout will cover Gaming Corps‘ slots catalogue, giving Veikkaus access to established titles, proprietary mechanics and the studio’s 3 Pigs franchise, which Gaming Corps describes as its most recognisable IP. The agreement also creates scope to expand into the studio’s wider portfolio over time, including table, mine, plinko and multiplier games, as well as proprietary formats Smash4Cash, A-MAZE-CADES and X-MY-WAY.

The deal represents a meaningful distribution step for Gaming Corps, which has been building its state-owned and lottery operator segment as a strategic priority.

The Swedish studio, listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market, reported net revenue of MSEK 21.1 in Q2 2026, a 106% year-on-year increase, and has signed deals with Entain, evoke plc and Games Global in recent months.

In its Q2 2026 results, Gaming Corps noted that its broad portfolio spanning multiple game categories made it “particularly well positioned” among operators seeking a wider content mix than traditional slots alone.

Veikkaus accelerates its supplier programme ahead of July 2027

Gaming Corps joins a roster of suppliers Veikkaus has assembled as it restructures for life in a competitive market. Veikkaus’ H1 2026 interim report recorded 2,672,000 registered customers, up approximately 50,000 year-on-year, and reported that 64.5% of gross gaming revenue now comes from digital channels. Previous supplier additions include Playtech for live casino, OpenBet for its sportsbook platform and 1X2 Network for slots content.

Veikkaus currently operates under an exclusive mandate across Finnish gambling, running lottery, sports betting, iCasino and Instants products via its online platform veikkaus.fi, as well as a land-based network that includes Casino Helsinki and 44 gaming arcades. Under Finland’s new Gambling Act, the operator will retain exclusivity over lotteries, scratchcards and land-based gaming once the market opens to competition, but will compete for online casino and betting customers alongside incoming licensed operators.

What the executives said

Graham Greensmith, Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Corps, said:

‘Veikkaus is one of the most established names in European gaming, with an extraordinary reach and relationship with players in Finland. We’ve built Gaming Corps around variety, with inventive mechanics, fresh concepts and a broad mix of gameplay experiences. That breadth can be a real advantage as competition in Finland increases.’

Riikka Seppänen, Vice President, iCasino at Veikkaus, said:

‘Gaming Corps has been superb to work with, delivering its content in record time and with real precision. That speed and execution is hugely valuable to us, and their arrival comes at a great time as we continue preparing for the changes ahead in Finland’
